ByeBye’s charter is to reach audiences through the voice of Filipino culture. Our work began during an artist residency in early 2024, where we investigated the effects of colonization on our personal experiences. We collectively hold a long history in the XR creative world and want to apply that expertise to create something meaningful.
We have seen what kind of impact we can have, not just on the Philippine-Americans, but for immigrants and children-of-immigrants at large. This community has felt overlooked by society for so long that it needs a reminder of what it feels like to be seen: and ByeBye plans on showing the world.
